Rosemary Simple Syrup

Ingredients

1 cup water

1 cup of sugar

4 fresh rosemary sprigs (you may express or chop sprigs to increase potency)
Method
- In medium saucepan bring ingredients to a boil, stirring occasionally, and boil for 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let stand 30 mins.
- pour liquid through a wire-mesh strainer into a cruet or airtight container, discarding rosemary sprigs. Cover and chill 4 hours.
Notes
- Syrup may be stored in refrigerator up to 1 month.
