Spicy Korean Rice Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice cakes

  • 1 cup oden

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 heaping tbsp gochujang (red pepper paste)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 green onions chopped

  • 1 tbsp red pepper powder

  • 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes

Method

  1. Boil water with rice cakes.

  1. Mix in sugar and red pepper paste.

  1. Add soy sauce and red pepper powder and flakes and bring back up to boil.

  1. Add oden and green onions and boil for 10-15 more minutes until sauce thickens.
